How to filter out a server setting

Postby joebattig » Fri May 15, 2009 1:26 pm

OK, I tried searching the forum and couldnt find the answer I was looking for.
The game is: Wolfenstein Enemy Territory
The string is "omnibot_enable 1".
I want to filter out servers that match that string.
However, that string only appears if it is enabled, otherwise there is nothing to match.
I am sure it is an easy filter to create, but I am at a loss here.
I think it would be a good idea to create a Wiki with some basic filter scripting techniques.

Great software. Much better than ASE ever was.

Thanks,
Joe B

Try this:
If the rule isn't found it returns a blank string, so look for a match of a blank string.
Code: Select all
if rule("omnibot_enable") == ""

OR
If this rule only returns the value "1" then you can try to filter by matching servers that DON'T equal "1"
Code: Select all
if rule("omnibot_enable") != 1
